अच्छे बच्चे अपने बड़ों का कहना मानते हैं। वे सदा सच बोलते हैं। वे प्रातःकाल जल्दी उठते हैं। वे ठीक समय पर स्कूल पहुँचते हैं। वे प्रतिदिन स्कूल का काम करते हैं। वे शाम को खेलते भी हैं। वे अपने छोटे भाई-बहनों को प्यार करते हैं। वे बड़ों का आदर करते हैं। ऐसे बच्चे एक दिन बड़े आदमी बनेंगे।
Good children obey their elders. They always speak the truth. They get up early in the morning. They reach the school at time. They do their school work everyday. They also play in the evening. They love their younger brothers and sisters. They respect elders. Such children will become great persons one day.

एक गाँव में एक अंधा रहता था। उस गाँव में आग लग गई। सब लोग गाँव छोड़कर भाग गए। उसी गाँव में एक लंगड़ा भी रहता था। अंधे ने लंगड़े से कहा, “तुम्हारे आँखें हैं पर तुम चल नहीं सकते। मेरे पैर हैं पर मैं देख नहीं सकता, आओ, मेरे कंधे पर बैठ जाओ। तुम रास्ता बताओगे और मैं चलूँगा।” दोनों ने ऐसा ही किया और कुशलतापूर्वक गाँव से बाहर चले गए।
A blind man lived in a village. That village caught fire. All the people ran away leaving the village. A lame man also lived in that village. The blind man said to the lame man, You have eyes but you can’t walk. I have feet but I can’t see. Come, sit on my shoulders. You will show me the way and I shall walk.” Both of them did so and went out of the village safely.

जब रात्रि में मैं कमरे में सोया हुआ था तो टेलीफोन की घंटी बजी। मैं जाग गया। जैसे ही मैं टेलीफोन सुनने के लिए जा रहा था तो मैंने दरवाजे के बाहर कुछ अजीब शोर सुना। ऐसा लगा जैसे कि कोई महिला रो रही हो और लोग उसकी समस्या को जानने की कोशिश कर रही हों। मैं शीघ्र ही दरवाजे की ओर गया और दरवाजा खोला। जब मैं भीड़ की ओर जा रहा था तो मैंने देखा कि एक पुलिस की मोटर गाड़ी वहां खड़ी थी। पुलिस को देखकर लोग इधर उधर जाने लगे। वह महिला अब भी जोर-जोर से चिल्ला रही थी। जब मैंने पूछा तो उसने अपनी दुख भरी कहानी सुनाई।पुलिस वाले उस महिला को अपने साथ ले गए। मैं भी दुखी ह्रदय से घर लौटा।
Ans. When I sleeping in the room in the night, the bell of the telephone rang. I awake. As I was going to answer the telephone, I heard some strange noise out side of door. It seemed, a woman is crying and people are trying to know her problem. Immediately I went to the door and opened the door. When I was going to the crowd, I saw a police van was standing there. Seeing the police, people started to go here and there. Still the woman was crying loudly. When I asked, she told me her sorrowful story. The police took the woman with them.
